Since 2005, Sasbadi has been a strategic partner to the Ministry of Education Malaysia (“MoE”) in advocating for STEM (“Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics”) education. Our commitment involves nurturing the younger generation to become future thinkers, creators, and innovators. We actively encourage the development of critical skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration.
In partnership with LEGO Education, a global brand, we provide engaging tools and platforms for hands-on learning through robotics and programming. In collaboration with the MoE, Sasbadi organises annual robotics competitions including the National Robotics Competition (“NRC”), National Robotics Open Competition (“NROC”), FIRST LEGO League (“FLL”) Malaysia, and FIRST LEGO League Junior (“FLL Jr.”) Malaysia, creating platforms for showcasing talent and fostering innovation.
To ensure we provide educational tools of the highest quality, we have chosen to work with globally recognised brands that are dynamic, durable and user-friendly. In 2005 we were appointed as the exclusive partner of LEGO Education for the territories of Malaysia and Brunei, and in the following years we also became the distributors of National Instruments amongst other brands.

Since 2005, Sasbadi has been co-organising the largest robotics competition in Malaysia together with the Ministry of Education (MoE). Every year, about 10,000 students from all over the nation come together at the National Robotics Competition (NRC) to compete for the championship and the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the prestigious World Robot Olympiad (WRO). Besides the NRC, Sasbadi also organises the National Robotics Open Competition (NROC) with the MoE, a robotics competition for international school students.
Sasbadi is also the organiser for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Malaysia, FIRST LEGO League Jr. (FLL Jr.) Malaysia, and the National Advanced Robotics Competition (NARC).
